Yeshua follow that parable with a reinforcing short parable or saying about a lamp and light. A lamp is meant to give light. Yeshua is Light the light of the world. The Word of GOD is the light of the world. We are blessed by the light we are to reflect it the light not hide it or keep it to ourselves.
The farmer plants the seed, tills the ground yes, but really everything like sun in the right amount, rain in the right amount, temperature, wind, all of those things are controlled by GOD. No farmer thinks of cutting his wheat when it is green. He waits until the sun, and rain, and temperature have done their appointed work. Then, and only then, does he obtain the harvest.
