This actually happened to Lana Turner. At the age of 15, a talent scout spotted her at a malt shop. The rest is history.
Lana Turner was mainly a film star, but she made many appearances on the radio. She was on Lux Radio Theater, Jan. 19, 1942, in the radio version The Devil And Miss Jones.
