Flora fire confirmed to be arson; Indianapolis Fire Department completes review

The Indianapolis Fire Department has completed its review of a house fire in Flora, Indiana that killed four girls, confirming the initial conclusion that the fire was intentionally set. The Indiana State Police, which is the agency performing the criminal investigation, requested that IFD conduct a review of the investigation. ISP does not often investigate arson, so it asked IFD to look at the fire with a fresh set of eyes. The request was made in December 2017.
