Sherlock Holmes Pursuit to Algiers 1945

Pursuit to Algiers is a 1945 American film that is part of the Basil Rathbone/Nigel Bruce Sherlock Holmes film series. The film is based on Doyle's The Return of Sherlock Holmes.

In Pursuit to Algiers, Holmes (Basil Rathbone) helps escort Nikolas (Leslie Vincent), the heir to a foreign country, to assume his crown after the assassination of his predecessor. The film also features Nigel Bruce as Dr. Watson, who makes his singing debut by singing "Flow gently sweet Afton".
