Israel is fighting for its basic existence. Hamas would wipe every Jew off the map. They would totally destroy Israel if they could. That's their goal. And so there is no moral equivalence there, and the United States, we should stand strongly and forthrightly behind our great ally in the Middle East, the state of Israel. But you're right to bring up the politics because I think that's the issue, that supporting Israel and the Democratic Party nowadays, is a net loser for them politically.”
