The Christian charismatic movement and other modern worship theologies that are focused on spiritual warfare tell Christians to go to "the enemy's camp" and take "back what he stole" from them. How many times have you heard someone pray a "hedge of protection"? It is often believe that the more people participating in the prayer, the louder it is, and the more heartfelt, the more effective the prayer is to bind or defeat Satan. Unfortunately this is far from the truth.

Pastor John MacArthur tells us that power of the devil and demons belonged to Jesus and the Apostles, do not have that power ourselves. Our power rests in calling out to Jesus and God for help.
