Reading the Bible in 1 Year - Numbers Chapter 22 - Balaam's Donkey

Numbers Chapter 22 is about how Balak summoned Balaam to curse the Israelites on behalf of the Amorites. Balaam told Balak that even if he gave him his palace filled with silver and gold, he could not do anything to go beyond the command of the Lord. But in the end, Balaam decided to go see the Children of Israel. As he traveled, Balaam’s donkey stopped three times because an angel blocked the way.
This is a story with supernatural elements and, as I remember it, was a favorite children’s story.
