What is the value of our education system in relationship to the real world today opposed to the world during the time we grew up during the 70's and 80's? What are and where are the priorities of education today looking myopically at the Cameron, MO. school district. 1/2 a million for astroturf? $17,800/seat (student)? Why are the 'proficient scores' used as a metric overall rather than the simple, GPA of the past as a rating?
