Giza is the modern name for the large Cairo necropolis, covering approximately 2000 m². Giza has the third largest population after Cairo and Alexandria. More than 2 million residents live in the city. In fact, Giza merges with Cairo.
The famous Egyptian pyramids are located here: Cheops, Khafre, Mikerene and the Great Sphinx.
