If you only have 24 hours in Amman, this is what you can do:

🍴Breakfast:
Have a Manakeesh, a traditional breakfast dish. This is flatbread topped with various toppings, the most common one is Za’atar. Can find it in every bakery.

➡️ Morning in Amman:
🕌 Start your Amman itinerary by visiting Blue Mosque, the only mosque in Amman open for non-muslims.

🏛️ Take a taxi or Uber to Amman Citadel. The main attractions are the Temple of Hercules and the Byzantine church. This is a great point offering panoramic views over the white city of Amman or Philadelphia. It is included in Jordan Pass.

🏛️ Walk to the Roman Theatre where you can find two smaller museums on each side. Grab an orange juice sometime during the day.

🍴Lunch:
Grab some delicious and affordable Jordanian food in Hashem restaurant. The most famous and most popular vegetarian restaurant in Amman. For a desert head to Habiba Sweets next door and try knafeh.

➡️ Afternoon in Amman:
Do some souvenir shopping on souks in Al Balad/Downtown.

🌈 After that, walk to Rainbow Street and explore the cafes and restaurants there. You can stop by at Al Quds Falafel or have a Jordanian coffee and shisha.

🍴Dinner:
Have your dinner in Mijana or head to Al Quds and try Jordanian specialty Mansaf.
