"This week we dive into the world of the independent cattle farmer in Alabama. 1819 has reported on what has happened to poultry farmers because of a heavy regulatory environment and the damage that has caused with the corporate centralization of chicken processing and crippling of the independent poultry farmer. This week we sat down with Erin Beaseley to see what their association is doing to make sure the beef industry in Alabama stays free. We hear a little of Erin's story and why she is so passionate about the cattle industry and then the conversation shifts to policy questions submitted by independent cattlemen.
