13. The Coming of the Son of Man (Rev. 1:7-11)

John promises his hearers that in the tumultuous times awaiting them in the near future, they will not be left alone, but that the Son of Man would be coming to rescue, protect, and vindicate them as he brought judgment on the unrepentant.
