The Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire rating continues a major trend for the Monsterverse franchise. A follow-up to 2021's Godzilla vs. Kong, the fifth film in the franchise features the return of the two titular titans as they team up to take on a new formidable foe. The Godzilla x Kong: New Empire cast includes the return of familiar faces like Rebecca Hall, Brian Tyree Henry, and Kaylee Hottle reprising their roles from the last installment. Newcomers include Dan Stevens, Alex Ferns, and Fala Chen.

Now, ahead of the Godzilla x Kong: New Empire release date in March, the movie's MPA rating has been revealed. According to FilmRatings.com, Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire has been rated PG-13 for "creature violence and action." This continues the trend for the Monsterverse franchise since every installment so far has received the same rating from the MPA.
