Can I still enjoy Overwatch 2?

Overwatch 2 failed players with no promised PvE story, changing the meta and introducing insane microtransactions. Overwatch is a game I used to have a lot of fun with... on controller. So is there hope for me enjoying Overwatch 2 as it is now, on Mouse and Keyboard? Let's give it a fair chance to go on the Game Stream bracket.
