Josh Gordon | Before They Were Famous | Suspended from New England Patriots
Josh Gordon has been lauded for his skills as a wide receiver for the New England Patriots, but as is the case with many athletes, there's sometimes demons behind closed doors. With the Superbowl quickly approaching, everyone is discussing the Pats squaring off with the Los Angeles Rams. But in recent days Josh's name has appeared in headlines regarding his alleged drug use. Josh has had a storied history of drug related offences including football suspensions in 2010, 2011 and 2015. After an amazing first season with the Pats after leaving the Browns in 2018, it seems that his lifestyle has caught up to him yet again. And it couldn't be at a worse time. The player announced on December 20th, that he would be taking time off to focus on his mental health. This was followed by a statement by the NFL who stated that he would be banned for violating NFL drug policies. About a week after making Superbowl 53, it was reported that the Patriots would be paying for his Josh. We wishes him a speedy recovery and the best of luck.
