The upcoming solar event on April 8, 2024, promises an awe-inspiring spectacle: a total solar eclipse visible from parts of North America, with Mexico offering some prime locations for witnessing this rare phenomenon.

The path of totality spans from northwest Mexico across the United States to southeastern Canada, stretching approximately 115 miles (185 kilometers) wide on average.
