As you read this publication, I desire readers to examine and truly engage in a time of soul-searching, first as people, then as a church, and finally as a nation. Humanity must face the dark state of our world. Therefore, we must come to terms with the need for the sovereign intervention of God using biblical principles as its prominent source. From this platform, every human soul, nation, and its leaders must pull together to enter upon their road to recovery.

The mind is a terrible thing to lose, and it is a terrible thing to ignore when it is in trouble. We are facing a growing mental health crisis. The words written within this work serve to start a process of inner healing, the start of a conversation, a call for the church to rise to the task at hand, and a plea for the nation's leaders to empower and work in collaboration with the church as a leading member of the Mental Health Crisis Task Force.
