Let's not act surprised: Madame Web was destined to suck since it was first conceived by the creators. Even the lead actress Dakota Johnson doesn't have faith in the movie, basically doing everything short of straight panning the film on its own press junket. From a laughably shallow villain to soulless dialogue, Madame Web feels more like a parody of a super hero movie rather than a true attempt at bringing a Marvel character to life. Oh well, surely Kraven the Hunter will save us!
