I have THE answer to THE question about bad modern media.
Ever asked why certain media is crap in specific areas? Why are all these characters crap? Why were there once well made characters of those types and now not? What is with all the insane projecting? Where are all the fun gay characters and what's with all the terribly written lesbians? Why are the characters lacking in personal accountability?
Well, I have an answer for you, years in the making. It all starts at the anime conventions, but it then goes everywhere.
Be willing to watch the whole video. It drags on, but I slowly go through the whole as best I can. I could say more, but I held back myself for the sake of your ears.
