When we think of spiritual warfare, prayer always come to mind. If the Devil can keep you off your knees, then we've lost the battle. The battle is won on our knees. Prayer is fighting fire with fire in the invisible realm. Prayer is the force field that puts the boundary on Satan's effectiveness.

We get attacked in an invisible way by discouragement, doubt, attacks on the Bible, false teaching, false religions, false philosophies, political correctness, wokeism, Marxism, Islam. Our fight is against these lies and attacks on the Bible. We must put on invisible body armor to protect our minds and hearts from believing the lies. Your mind, your emotions and your faith are what will be attacked.

God's way of doing marriage and parenting and working at our jobs is always the best way to shine the light of Christ in a dark world. Marriage does not need to be redefined but rediscovered. Our world needs good examples of Jesus in us living His life through us.

When we commit our lives to Christ and follow Jesus we soon realize that the Christian life is not a playground but a battleground. We fight the good fight! We cannot as Christians be demon possessed as some wrongly teach! We fight from victory not for victory.

The invisible warfare we are in is real. We have a real enemy. Demons! But we thank God there are more of God's angels for us than demons against us. Demons - those invisible fallen angels that are using specific methods to discourage you and keep you from growing in Christ and being fruitful. Today we continue to learn about our "Spiritual" warfare. Let us take up the whole armor that we may be protected and win the battles!

Today we learn about walking in Harmonious relationships - especially in marriage. The marriage relationship is such a beautiful one, but there can be discord. Now that God has begun a good work n us, we now live differently. Love & Respect are to be the leading attitudes and actions to one another.

This section is all about the Christian Walk & the Christian Talk; our lifestyle. Now that God has done so much for us and made us into a new person, now what? Now, we are to live differently and talk differently. we're to walk in Love, Light and in Wisdom.

The Old YOU was the kind of belief, behaviors, thinking and lifestyle you lived before you came to be a follower of Jesus. Now the change comes, we put away all the old and put on the NEW YOU. A type of thinking, a type of living, a type of believing that is opposite of the way you were before you came to Christ. Put off the Old you and put on the New You that is after the ways of our Lord Jesus.

Spiritual Growth, full Christian maturity is the purpose of the Church. This process into Christ likeness happens when the Bible is taught consecutively and consistently. Bible teaching churches are rare these days. Expositional Bible teaching church are even rarer. god desires for you to grow in the knowledge and grace of Jesus so that you would be a full mature believer in Jesus - functioning in a healthy harmonious way in the Church.

Chapters 1-3 list the wealth of the believer. Our great blessing that we have in Christ. Now it's time to live up to our great wealth. God is the initiator we are the responders not the revers. We don't try to do good works in order for God to bless us; He has already blessed us, that is why we do good works - that is a tremendous difference! You are so blessed by God, now God desires you to respond to those blessings.

God now begins to build a new Temple. Each Christian is a "stone" in the structure. We are all one in Christ, His building, where He dwells, He inhabits His dwelling!

The contrast here of when we become a Christian is noticeable! Once dead now alive! Once walking in the ways of the world, now walking in the ways of God. Once walking with the devil, now sitting with Jesus. once under the influence of the world, now under the influence of heaven. We have now come into a relationship with Jesus by Grace through Faith - all a total gift of God! His kindness is seen and now experienced! Praise the Lord!

The Apostle prays for the Christians. His prayer is a fascinating one! After all the benefits he declares, he then prays that we would grasp it. His prayer request is that we may know Him better, to experience Hope because of his calling, to know our spiritual wealth, to know His power - His life transforming power, His power to live in the midst of all of life and power to serve God!

Who do you identify with? Who are you? What do you identify with? the word "identity" is a culture word signifying who/what you belong to. now that you believe in Jesus you are identified as a "Jesus follower," a believer in Jesus, a Christian. We often try to find identity in our performance or in our strong sense of person-hood. Those may be part of it, but the greatest stability and emotional and mental security lays in our spiritual identity IN CHRIST! This will never change and is more secure than the universe itself - because it is locked into God Himself and what Jesus did on the Cross.

Have you ever heard of stories about someone who won the lottery and did not know it? They never checked to see if they had the winning numbers? You are now a different person because of your wealth in Christ. The age old philosophers asked, "Who are we?" We often get lost in what others think of us and never come to a security because we lack a sense of personal value and worth...so we look to our performance in athletics, career success, popularity and these other things to define us. These things are fine pursuits but not for the motive of emotional or mental security, because those things can change so quickly and thus we're unstable. The spiritual identity in Christ will never change and is forever locked in secure!

It is quite astounding to learn all that we have been blessed with in Christ. Because of your relationship with Jesus you have been given incalculable blessings from God. Ephesians begins to list those endless blessings that are yours in Christ. This book is a fabulously rich heavenly bank account for all Christians to establish a secure relationship with the Lord and then to live a victorious Christian life as a result.
