I have declared thy faithfulness and thy salvation

When Jesus Christ preached to the crowds and when He preached to only one or two, He did not hold anything back. He gave the people exactly what they needed to hear and not what they wanted to hear. Jesus Christ declared the faithfulness of God to the people and Jesus Christ demonstrated that faithfulness in His life. He did not use fancy words and flowery speech, Jesus Christ spoke straightforward and simply, so that the people would understand what they needed to understand. Faith comes by hearing and heeding the Word of God. And the people were hearing directly from the Living Word of God.
