Mental Health from a Holistic Perspective | Webinar Feb 12 2020

On Wednesday February 12 at 7:00 PM EST IHN held a 1-hour webinar excerpt from their Nutrition and Mental Health Continuing Education course. Melissa Blackburn Borg uncovers key considerations for holistically addressing mental health. Mental health is field that is radically changing as people are moving away from traditional methods and looking to natural solutions for managing mental health disorders. Greater understanding is being put on finding the root, biological causes of all mental health disorders including anxiety, depression, dementia and addiction as we begin to see these more as symptoms of an unbalanced body. Nutrient deficiencies, genetics, bio-types and inflammation must be addressed for improving mental health outcomes.
