Juvenile Great Blue Herons take flight for the first time.

Great Blue Herons are flight-capable at 60 days. On this Thursday evening, I caught one of the juveniles taking flight for the first time. It flew around a little and returned shortly after sunset.
On Friday, two of the Juveniles took flight and a third jumped up on the top branches to exercise its wings. They both returned to the nest as the sun was setting.
