The city of Grand Rapids is looking to hire dozens of lifeguards

The city's park and recreation department will pay for certification from the American Red Cross, which costs 275-dollars and is valid for two-years, for up to 75 people who want to become lifeguards. Those who are interested must be 15-years-old or older and applications can be made on the city's website.
