New Hanover County Schools Superintendent Repudiates U.S. Constitution

Three years into his tenure and after taking an oath to uphold the U.S. Constitution, Superintendent Charles Foust renounced the Constitution at an agenda meeting while discussing a policy proposal aimed at prohibiting the teaching of radical ideas such as overthrowing the U.S. government. Foust expressed strong opposition to adopting this policy, asserting that the Constitution was not intended for him.
