Making a fish basket trap

There are less time consuming ways to do these but this seems to be the better one since fish like shadowy nooks to hang ou in and the tight weaving helps providing that.

Around here, spliting spruce roots after boiling them would make good eaving material since we have no vines here and not too many of Willow trees.

Here, I think these are illegal unless they are used in survival situations were it becomes rather unethical to stop someone from feeding themselves avoid dying.
