Drilling a hole in a rock by hand

Make sure that the bit is make of stronger material, the shape of the drill bit could be adapted to diminish pressure on the sides of the hole you are drilling and letting it all happen at the bottom of the hole. Adding some water could create a sludge that will help being that it will be abrasive, provided it doesn't clog too much.
