The ego’s mindset is built upon the illusionary belief that judgment, resentment, anger, and fear are a real part of us. It is when we support this thought system that we end up feeling insecure, lost, off balanced and confused. Today we ask ourselves, has the ego’s thought system ever truly supported us? Has this thought system ever provided a true shelter from this world’s storm? Regardless of how much false power it gave us, have we ever truly felt secure and confident in its ability to deliver love, peace of mind, and joy into our hearts and minds? If it can’t do any of these things, why would we consciously continue to support it?

Today when the ego comes knocking at our door, we do not buy what it is trying to sell, instead we simply smile, remember that the ego’s mindset is but an illusion, and that all illusions can huff and puff but they can never blow our true home down. Our true home is built on the rock that is God’s love. Today we acknowledge, support and act from this truth, and by doing so become an example to others of what is possible for all those still stuck within the ego’s mindset.
