MAORI COUNCIL THREATENED THEY WOULD LOBBY APEC COUNTRIES IN 1999

In 1999 The Maori Council warned Parliament they would lobby APEC countries in seeking Maori Sovereignty over New Zealand. The response is far from what they wanted to hear from the speaker in the House (Parliament) that day. Doug Graham was the speaker in the House that responded to the Maori Council warning, he was the Treaty Claims Negotiations Minister at the time.
