Kansas City's Democratic Mayor Quinton Lucas got his feathers ruffled over comments made by Gov. Mike Parson (R-MO) calling the alleged shooters who killed and injured attendees of the Chief's victory parade "thugs", claiming that the word is a racist dog whistle. Gene Berardelli dispels Lucas' motion with examples of politicians, lawyers and actors, using using the word as intended: to connote criminality by anyone!
