Rep. Patricia Morgan Strongly Opposes Bill H7062 Allowing For ADUs Which Will Destroy Neighborhoods And Devalue Properties

ADUs are additional dwelling units which can be newly built or outbuildings modified on properties which are single family zoned.

In essence, it allows single family home owners to become landlords and rent to tenants.

ADUs may seem like a great idea so grandma and grandpa can get some additional income but they come at a cost and one is liability.

ADUs destroy the fabric of the single home neighborhood while not solving the problem of rental properties with high fees.

The only people that benefit from ADUs? The trades unions that will build them or convert out buildings.
