The John Ball Zoo will be getting more paved parking

The Kent County commission has approved a new master plan that adds 900 new parking spots, with the administrator saying no paved parking has been added since the 1960s. There are people in the area, however, who do not want the parking spots added. With the city voting against seeing if the park and zoo are historic, the paved parking spots will be going in this year.
