Derek Prince Testing the Spirits

Derek Prince Testing the Spirits in the Bible. Derek Prince sermons states "Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God". How important is this today. The world is filled with false prophets. And everyone who says they are are for God aren't for him. Derek tells us "don't believe every prophecy, don't believe every revelation, don't believe every book you read- Test the spirits". A false prophet is one who has a false spirit which is not the Holy Spirit. So how do we test the spirits? Derek states "By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God,". So if they acknowledge Jesus has come in the flesh they are of God. And if they do not it is a false spirit which is not the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit always leads people to Jesus.
