Should The Witcher Video Game Get A Remake

If CD Project Red remakes (or gets another studio to remake) The Witcher video game, would you buy it? If it's updated for modern audience, I'm staying away, but there's more to it than that too. The original old game is missing a proper UI, a fast travel option, and needs massive combat improvements for me to even consider buying an updated version.
