Summer Sunset in Seward, AK

Late evening in July. Sorry I missed the first few minutes but I was pretty dang tired, this was the 3rd or 4th time I sat down over the previous 18 hours. Then I thought about sharing this... view from Z Float and looking NorthWest towards the Exit Glacier valley.
Sights and sounds from the well deck of M/V DAGNY GALT (Ex-LCU-1573). Used as a mechanical dredging platform for 'Ultra Green Gold': minimal fuel burn, material is handled once and returned within feet of origin. Wind, solar, and closed loop hydronic technology are used. Hazardous things like mercury used 100 years ago to mine ashore are safely removed as much as possible. The 'fluffed up seafloor' helps cause an explosion in the number of food chain base critters because they can burrow and reproduce in far more of the surface layer.
No coral to destroy, the quantity and variety of species observed increases to more than baseline within several years of our mining. Goldbering.com
