Tarra Simpson & Kim Cooper chat with cannabis content writer & patient Sharon Letts about her journey with psychedelic medicine

Sharon Letts has been in media since she was 24. Starting in television, she was working for local stations & PBS on gardening shows. Fait shone on this amazing woman, when she was sent to Humbolt California for a documentary. During her stay there, surrounded by cannabis, she was diagnosed with cancer. While getting a diagnosis for cancer is never a good thing, for Sharon being in Humbolt when she received that diagnosis may have saved her life, and most definitely changed the course of her life. This began her journey utilizing medicinal cannabis and learning about natural therapy.
Sharon left television and began writing for cannabis industry mags such as Weed World, High Times & more.
Now, over a decade later Sharon has begun utilizing fungi as part of her treatment plan.
Diagnosed with myocarditis, Sharon was sinking into a depression. She once again looked to natural therapy for relief, and found mushrooms.
Sharon had tried an array of pharmaceuticals, to no avail. she tried Microdosing with psilocybin mushrooms for an uplift to curve the depression that was taking over her life. The medical effects were shocking! "I did not know, nor did I intend, to regulate or heal my heart" Sharon said.
By that afternoon, her points had dropped by 30, within 48 hours, her pressure was back to normal. This, after weeks of dangerously high blood pressure, while on pharmaceuticals. "It’s what you would call a happy accident." according to Sharon.
As of this week, Sharon is nearly symptom free, with the hope that the fungi, along with her other plant protocols, have regenerated and strengthened her heart tissue.
Weed World UK will be running Sharon's essay on her experience of using psilocybin mushrooms to regulate her cardio for heart disease/myocarditis. The piece in Weed World UK will be in print in it’s February/March issue. The essay will run under Sharon's series/brand "Educated Stoner"
