Department Of Natural Resource Encouraging Snowmobilers To Head North

If you are looking to snowmobile and enjoy the winter trails this weekend, Upper Peninsula DNR is telling people to come North.

According to officials the trails throughout the U.P. have been holding up despite the warmer temperatures, and are the best in the Eastern U.P.

They say the best time to enjoy the trails is in the early morning, before the warmer afternoons, while the pack is still frozen.

The DNR is encouraging winter enthusiasts to get out and enjoy the trails safely, now, since this winter has been so unpredictable.
