Backsliding

The word 'backsliding' is used to describe a person who was a believer but has now become an unbeliever. That isn't sliding back a little. That's sliding all the way back and out the door. It's a euphemism for turning to a life of sin. There is a real backsliding in the Bible but it is called 'shaken' in faith. We look at this and what things can cause us to be shaken and how we prepare for them.
