This is the moment an IDF commando from the Maglan Unit came face-to-face with a Hamas terrorist in Kahn Younis while clearing out a building. Intense footage shows the commando enter the building and go to check a gap under the stairs, before realising there is a terrorist hiding there who opens fire. The soldiers then throw a grenade to take the fighter out. More video showed the Maglan Unit moving through the claustrophobic streets of Khan Younis while hunting Hamas fighters, using dogs and drones to flush them out and secure the city.

The IDF is now
carrying out mop-up operations in Khan Younis after securing the city, and is soon expected to carry out an assault of Rafah, near Egypt. That city is the last holdout of Hamas in Gaza, but Israel is coming under pressure to abandon the attack due to refugees sheltering there.
