Chilling Experience

I went to the Latin Mass at the church that I attend weekly for Sunday Mass and during the week. I arrived at the end of my pastor addressing the congregation when he was saying that we have full support of the bishop. I thought they were talking about the buildings on the property that we have been discussing for months. However, when the priest celebrating the Mass started his homily, he looked down and apologized to the congregation saying he apologized to us in the Latin Mass community, but he never did go into the details. THe worst came to my mind, thinking that the Latin Mass had been cancelled at my parish, as is happening around the world. I was numb the rest of the Mass and I felt that I had been violated and I felt I was living under tyranny. However, after Mass, I was talking to friends and found out that the announcement was that the dispensation to celebrate the Latin Mass had been extended for two years. I was relieved, but still angry when thinking that the Latin Mass had to have a dispensation. Francis has brought all sorts of perversion to the Catholic Church on so many fronts. He has the Catholic Church should be welcoming and tolerant and reach to the peripheries, well I guess unless one wants to attend the Latin Mass. This is all so evil. The Latin Mass is beautiful and sacred. It is one of the few flourishing areas of the Catholic Church, butr Francis and his ilk want to shut it down. His world is upside down and anti-Catholic.
