1 Samual 3 Samuel's Calling

Chapter 3:
Yahuah calls Samuel by name three times at night. Initially, Samuel mistakes Yahuah's voice for Eli's, but Eli realizes that Yahuah is calling the boy and instructs him to respond. When Samuel does so, Yahuah reveals to him the impending doom on Eli's household for the iniquities of Eli's sons, which Eli had failed to restrain. Samuel is afraid to tell Eli the vision, but when Eli insists, he tells him everything. Eli accepts this as Yahuah's will. Samuel grows, and Yahuah is with him, letting none of his words fall to the ground, establishing him as a prophet of Yahuah.
