We Were Deceived About THE RAPTURE

A sensational event people call "the Rapture" has consumed the imaginations of Christians and quite a lot of non-believing onlookers for two hundred years and counting. But this has been true for only the previous two hundred years, which begs the question, how did the Church interpret the "rapture scripture" before that? After all, only ONE scripture supports (supposedly) the idea of "the rapture." We will look at this scripture today and examine some of the adverse effects of the belief and hope in "the rapture."
