When Sabine’s body is found beneath the cliffs at Beachy Head in an apparent suicide, her sister Elly is convinced she was murdered. Elly's hunt for the killer takes her deep into the secret life her sister kept hidden.

Elly goes to Brighton to pack up Sabine’s university room and wait for the results of the post-mortem. But things aren’t quite adding up, and Elly soon begins to unearth secrets that her sister was keeping from her. Armed with a USB drive of Sabine’s recordings, Elly retraces her movements on the night she died. It’s a race against time to find Sabine’s killer and avert further tragedy.
