Jesus said He would send 'the Promise of the Father' to those who believed in Him. This first took place on the day of Pentecost. It is possible to neglect the person and work of the Holy Spirit as we see in the Church in Sardis (Rev. 3:1). We need the fulness, the power, the guidance, the influence of the Spirit of God like never before!
