February Review Roundup | EVERYTHING We Watched in February 2024

HateWatchers is starting a new video series where we recap everything that we watched over the last month. We plan to do these Review Roundups on a monthly basis, giving us a chance to add context to our other review videos as well as touch on a few shows & movies that we didn't end up reviewing on the channel.

The month of February, 2024, was pretty loaded with things to watch but not many of them were very good. Shogun just began so there's hope that the FX show will pan out good, but movies like Madame Web and Argylle further killed any faith people had in Hollywood to turn things around. True Detective was perhaps even worse than both of those as it truly killed the True Detective franchise, an idea further cemented with Issa Lopez being foisted onto the throne of the series now. We also watched a number of Amazon Prime shows that we haven't discussed on the channel like Invincible and Mr. & Mrs. Smith. Lastly, we discuss some of the shows we watch in our free time or for research for the channel. This past month we watched Dune and Ghostbusters: Afterlife in preparation for each movie's respective sequel coming out in March. Oh, and who could forget the totally natural, unscripted Super Bowl as the Chiefs rode Taylor Swift to a second consecutive title.
