The Australian Government is trying to scare Australians into linking all their personal information to a central government database. Their justification is that private companies get data stolen and that government databases are safer right? After linking all essential services to the government, being a dissident becomes more difficult. If the government doesn't like you, they can block or even remove you from the database preventing you can't buy food in a major supermarket nor get medical care.
