Do St. Thomas Aquinas’ teachings on Jesus Christ help or hinder our Christian faith?

Is it possible to study about Jesus too much? Can our study and knowledge of Jesus Christ be a hindrance to our Christian faith or is it beneficial to learn more about Him? That’s the topic today on Back to the Father. Dave will explain how a question from one of his high school students in class made him ponder the value of studying Christ, his life and nature and True God and True Man. St. Thomas Aquinas spends much time in the Summa explaining many aspects of the life of Christ. We’ll go over a handful of these articles on the show today and once we’re done we’ll ask you (and Sissel) whether you feel closer or father away from Christ after coming to a better intellectual knowledge about some of these particular aspects of His life.
