Cobb County police rescue the driver after they crashed into a pool while unconscious

Police bodycam video released Saturday shows how a driver was rescued last month after they lost consciousness and crashed into a Cobb County apartment complex's pool.

Cobb County Fire & Emergency Services posted about the incident when it happened on Feb. 22. The Cobb County Police Department bodycam posted on Saturday shows how officers were called to the apartment complex, broke open the car's window and pulled the driver from the car.

The pool's cover was able to hold the car and keep it from sinking.

The woman had experienced a medical emergency just prior to the crash, Cobb Police said. She was transported to a hospital and is expected to recover. Police said no charges were filed in the incident.
