Overcoming the Enemy - EP10

In my experience, what Christian’s struggle with the most is how to overcome the war against the flesh.
We all struggle with what it is that God wants us to do in life and how to go about being a light in this wicked world.

One of the biggest aspects of this struggle is the ability to understand how to overcoming the “enemy” we fight against that will stop at nothing to draw you away from the power that evil can never overcome. The Lord is our strength and His word is our hope of victory.

So, I thought it would be helpful to collect scriptures that can help us better understand the landscape of this fight so that we can be prepared for the warfare that is occurring around us. Whether we accept that truth or not the war is occurring around us and within us.

The more knowledgeable we are the more prepared we will be. Like that old saying says , “knowledge is power”.
So we should approach learning so that it’s like putting tools in a toolbox. It is imperative that we have the right tools that will be effective at a particular job. This is the key to determine our success or failure.

Understanding our own strengths and weaknesses is foundational to being able to then learn how to wield the tools, or the weapons, we will use in this battle. Understanding this, we now need to search what scriptures provides for us to become victorious in the battle before us.
