Atlantis was found

According to NBC News, in 2011, a team used satellite imagery to believe they had found the ancient city of Atlantis in the marshlands of Dona Ana Park, Spain. However, experts now believe Atlantis is located inland in Spain, not in the ocean. Plato's dialogues and archaeological work indicate that Atlantis is located near the Strait of Gibraltar.
